Community Grocer is a social enterprise with the goal of making seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables accessible to everyone at an affordable price.
This organisation works with local community groups to provide convenient pickup locations across Palmerston North. The House Next Door is the pick-up location in Roslyn.

This service is run by Financial Freedom Trust and is designed for those experiencing financial difficulty or for those who want a hand to manage their money better. We offer free and confidential advice with trained financial advisors.
We provide learning support for youth who are out of school due to exclusion or non-enrolment. Most of those we work with are enrolled in Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura), New Zealand’s distance learning school however our aim is to support youth education in any way we can. As part of this we also support youth to reintegrate into school or alternative/higher education. Many of those we support are referred to us by other organisations.
We also offer literacy and numeracy tuition to adult learners helping them to achieve their educational goals.

Our mentoring services are an opportunity to foster meaningful relationships, to provide positive role models and to impart essential skills to help those we work with better navigate life’s challenges. We have a variety of mentors and do our best to make sure there is a good fit between our mentors and those we mentor. Our mentoring relationships are shaped to maximise engagement and effectiveness. They can include various activities, sports or outings, as well as group and individual sessions.
Many we support are referred to us by other organisations.
